Filtering data in market movers

The market movers window contains a lot of data, which may make it a little difficult to find the information you need quickly. Fortunately, you can use filters to narrow down the data to view only the information that interests you.
To filter the data in the market movers window:

  1. In the main toolbar, click Market movers.

  2. The market movers window opens. Select your filter options:

    Option Description
Market view Select the market view you want to display:

    • Top gainers
    • Top losers
    • Top most active
    • Above 52-week high
    • Below 52-week low
    • Most volatile
    • Unusual volume
    • Most trades

% or net change Toggle the top gainers or top losers by price % change or net change. Data is updated every 5 minutes, regardless of your market data package. During the trading day, all figures are based on intraday prices. After trading hours, figures are based on the last closing price.

    • Change % refers to the security's percentage price gain or loss over a specific time period.

    • Net change is the security's price increase or decrease over a specific time period.
Note: when you select top most active, it defaults to net change automatically.

  3. Select your filter criteria. You can define up to 15 filters per view:
