Creating a new workspace or layout

You can easily create multiple workspaces and layouts to customize how you want to organize your tools and windows. 

Creating a new workspace

  1. From the bottom left corner of the main window, click . A new workspace tab will appear beside the default workspace tab.

  2. To rename your workspace, right click the new tab and select Rename workspace.

Creating a new layout

  1. In the main window, click File > New.

  2. In the new layout window, do the following:

    1. Select the layout type you want to create: blank, standard, or advanced.

    2. Click Browse and choose the location for your saved layouts. By default, all saved layouts will be saved in C:/My Documents/Questrade IQ Edge.

    3. Enter a name for your new saved layout.

  3. Click Ok to create your new layout
