Customizing a window's displayed columns

You can easily modify the information you want to see in each window by editing its columns. You can edit the columns in the following platform areas:

  • Account - summary tab
  • Account - orders tab
  • Account - positions tab
  • Account - executions tab
  • Watch list
  • Level 1 and level 2
  • Options
  • Time and sales
  • Alerts

To edit the columns in a window:

  1. Open the window containing the information you want to edit. The information in the highlighted areas below can be modified:



  2. For all windows, click  and select Edit columns.

    Note: by default the columns that are visible will be selected.



  3. Select the checkbox next to the columns you want to display, or select the column and then click Show. In this example, we're modifying the information shown in the watch list window.



  4. Clear the checkbox next to the column you want to hide, or select the column and then click Hide

  5. To reorganize the columns, select the column and click Move up or Move down.

    Note
    : select the Set as default checkbox to make these changes the default for the window. The next time you open the watchlist tab, your new default settings will appear.

  6. Click OK to save the changes, or Cancel to discard them.

    Tip: to revert back to the default watch list columns, click Restore defaults and choose Restore factory defaults.
